This coffee is a classic expression of Bali’s Kintamani region, where smallholder farmers cultivate heirloom varieties in rich volcanic soil at high elevations. Grown between 1200–1600 meters, the slow maturation of Bourbon, Typica, and Catimor cherries contributes to a cup with depth and structure.
Roasted to a medium-dark level, it leans into a comforting, full-bodied profile. Expect a rich foundation of dark chocolate layered with the deep, syrupy sweetness of molasses and brown sugar. The wet-hulled process—traditional to Indonesia—adds a subtle earthiness and weight, giving the cup a smooth, almost velvety mouthfeel.
The result is a bold yet balanced coffee with low acidity, pronounced sweetness, and a lingering, dessert-like finish—well-suited for those who enjoy a darker, more indulgent cup.
